We have only three complaints: 1. The crew left cigarette butts on the ground all around our property; 2. When it began to rain heavily and they had to call it a day, the crew packed up all of the unused insulation bags under our back deck without asking me, covering up our trash and recycling bins and knocking my motorscooter over (and leaving it that way); 3. Harbor Energy, the energy audit company that Summit works closely with (it is owned by the same family) botched our rebate application and caused it to be initially rejected, and then it was difficult and stressful to get things straight, and in the end we had to go back to Summit to do so (Harbor Energy did not return our calls or emails). |

They did a great job of removing portions of our old aluminum siding in order to spray in the insulation and were able to put it back so that you couldn't even tell that anything had been done. All of the work was also done in one day. Also, through their Harbor Energy Consulting division they were able to do the energy audit and take care of all the paperwork for the rebate. The Summit Insulation crew were experienced, courteous and knowledgeable. The work was done in June. It is now December, and the house seems cozy and less drafty. Although my home, solidly built in 1950, was nice before the work, there is a noticeable improvement. I am expecting my heating bills to go way down. |
